The ATTIC

At the heart of Our Place at Ben Washer Park is the ATTIC (Act Think Teach Inspire Create). Housed on the second floor, the ATTIC is a multifunctional space that provides opportunities and resources for education and skill building and features the equipment, technology and, human and material resources that young people need to flex their social entrepreneurial muscles. The ATTIC is the primary programming space for Bridge Kids International and serves as a hub of engagement for community members of all ages to learn, try, create, develop and achieve transformational goals.

ATTIC programing helps young people be better prepared for higher education, career and life. From creating their own products, to starting a business, to designing an innovative approach to a community problem, the ATTIC helps young people develop and implement their projects. The ATTIC also connects senior citizens to technology, providing excellent opportunities for intergenerational activities with two-way learning.

The ATTIC is also available to rent for meetings and events.
